Creator Earnings

When people use AI features in your published apps, a creator premium is added to the AI cost and passed entirely to you. You can also sell paid apps and withdraw your earnings to your bank account.

How it works

Every published app on the platform automatically earns for its creator. When users interact with AI in your app, a premium is added to the AI cost and passed entirely to you. Paid apps are an additional layer.

How creator earnings work:

  • Creator rewards (25%) — The primary earnings mechanic. When users interact with AI in your app, a 25% premium is added to the AI cost and passed entirely to you
  • Paid app sales — Publish paid apps. When someone purchases your paid app, the sale amount (minus payment processing fees) is converted into credits and added to your balance
  • Referral credits — Earn 1,000 bonus credits every time a new user signs up through one of your apps
  • Withdraw to your bank — Once your credit balance reaches 20,000 credits ($20), you can withdraw earnings to your bank account

Creator rewards

Whenever a user interacts with AI features in your published app (chat, image generation, text analysis, etc.), a 25% premium is added on top of the base AI cost and passed entirely to you. It applies to all public and unlisted apps whether they are free or paid, with no setup required beyond publishing.

25% creator rewards on AI usage

Automatic · No setup required

A 25% premium is added to AI usage in your published apps and passed entirely to you.

How billing works

When someone uses AI in your app, the 25% premium is added on top of the base AI cost. The premium is passed entirely to your balance. You see these earnings as “creator rewards” in your sales dashboard.

When it applies

Creator rewards apply to all AI usage in your public or unlisted apps by other users. They do not apply when you use your own app — self-usage is excluded so you're never charged creator rewards on your own credits.

Example earnings:

Assumes ~500 credits/user/day. Actual earnings depend on usage patterns.

Referral credits

Every app you publish doubles as a referral link. When someone discovers your app, signs up, and verifies their email, both of you earn bonus credits automatically.

How referral credits work:

  1. 1A new user visits one of your published apps
  2. 2They sign up for an account from the app page
  3. 3Once they verify their email, both you and the new user receive bonus credits

You earn

1,000 credits

Per new user who signs up through any of your apps and verifies their email. Up to 20,000 credits total.

They earn

1,000 credits

The new user receives bonus credits on top of the standard email verification bonus when they sign up through your app.

Withdrawals

Your creator rewards and any paid app earnings accumulate as credits in your account. Once your balance reaches the minimum threshold, you can withdraw your earnings to your bank account.

Withdrawal threshold

20,000 credits ($20)

Once your credit balance reaches 20,000 credits, a withdraw button appears in your account settings and earnings dashboard. Withdrawals transfer your full credit balance to your connected Stripe account.

Requires Stripe Connect

To withdraw earnings, you need a connected Stripe account. Set this up once in your account settings. The same account is used for both paid app sales and credit withdrawals.

Use credits or withdraw

Earned credits work like any other credits — you can use them to power AI features in your own apps, or accumulate them and withdraw as cash. The choice is yours.

Frequently asked questions

Do I earn from free apps too?

Yes! Creator rewards apply to all published apps, whether free or paid. When users interact with AI in any of your public or unlisted apps, the 25% premium is added and passed to you. You don't need to charge for your app to earn from it.

Can I use my earned credits instead of withdrawing?

Yes. Earned credits function exactly like purchased credits. You can use them to power AI features in your own apps, or let them accumulate and withdraw as cash when you reach the 20,000-credit threshold.

How do taxes work?

Not tax advice: Tax rules vary by location and situation. If you're unsure, ask a tax professional.

Creator income taxes: Your withdrawals are typically taxable income. If you're a US creator and meet reporting thresholds, you may receive a tax form (such as a 1099) for your earnings.

Can I update an app after selling it?

Yes! You can update your app at any time. When you publish a new version, all existing buyers automatically get access to the updated version at no additional cost.

Can I stop selling an app?

Yes, you can archive an app to stop selling it. Existing buyers keep their access, and you'll continue to earn creator rewards on their AI usage.

Can I change the price of my app?

Yes, you can change the price at any time. Price changes only affect new purchases — existing buyers keep their access regardless.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are handled by the platform support team. If a buyer requests a refund, please contact our support staff who will process it manually.
